Accessibility statement

We want this site to work for everyone — keyboard users, screen-reader users, people with low vision, dyslexic readers, people on slow networks. Here's where we are honestly.

Standard we're aiming for

We're targeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We're not perfectly there yet — a small site built by a small team rarely is on day one — but we test the things that matter most and we fix issues when they're reported.

What works well

  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element is reachable with Tab and operable with Enter / Space.
  • Visible focus: we use solid focus rings on links, buttons and form fields rather than relying on the browser default.
  • Colour contrast: body copy and primary buttons meet AA contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Headings: a single <h1> per page, sensible heading order, no skipped levels.
  • Forms: every input has a visible label, required fields are marked, errors are announced.
  • Images: meaningful images have alt text; decorative images are marked decorative.
  • Mobile: all pages are designed mobile-first and tested at 390px wide.
  • Motion: animations are subtle and respect prefers-reduced-motion.

Known issues

Things we know aren't perfect yet:

  • The decorative SVG service-area map on the locations page is announced as an image; we plan to replace the long-description with an inline data table for screen-reader users.
  • Some marketing landing-page hero copy uses very large display type that may reflow awkwardly on extreme zoom (400%+).
  • The downloadable Buyer's Checklist is a PDF; the live HTML page covering the same content is a future addition. Email us if you need an HTML version now.

If you spot something, please tell us — see below.

Alternative formats

If any content here doesn't work for you, we'll happily provide it in another format — large print, plain text, audio, or by phone if that's easier. Email Contact us or ring 0161 503 3535.

How to report a problem

Send the URL of the page, what you tried to do, what happened, and what tech you were using (browser, screen reader, OS) if you know. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and fix or come back with a plan within 10 working days.
