Managed IT support Manchester — without the city-firm price tag.
We're a small-business MSP based six miles east of the city centre. We support firms in M1, M2, M3 and the surrounding postcodes with the same baseline kit and the same engineers — Brett, Simon, Ben and Reece — that look after our Tameside and Stockport clients.
Why this town
Why a Denton-based MSP for a Manchester business?
Most Manchester city-centre IT companies aren't actually in the city — they're in serviced offices in Spinningfields charging 30% more for the postcode. We sit on Tameside Business Park, twenty minutes off the M60, with proper engineer time built into the rate rather than absorbed by the rent.
Manchester small businesses tend to share three problems: a Microsoft 365 tenant set up by a long-departed contractor, devices in three different lifecycle states, and a security posture that hasn't been touched since Cyber Essentials was last renewed in a panic. We come in, document what's there, and put the baseline back together properly.

Sector context
What makes Manchester different.
Manchester city centre is dense with professional services, marketing agencies and creative studios — businesses where IT downtime costs billable hours, not just comfort. The pattern we see most: rapid headcount growth from 8 to 25 users in 18 months, with a Microsoft 365 tenant that was built for the original team and never rebased. We rebuild the foundation properly — identity, device standards, file structure — so growth doesn't keep breaking it.

We don't have a written Manchester-specific case study published yet — we'd rather wait until a real client agrees to be named than ghostwrite one. What we can offer: an introduction to a client of ours in Manchester or nearby, who'll tell you straight what we're like to work with.
Manchester-specific questions
What people in Manchester actually ask us.
Five honest answers to the questions we get most often from prospective clients in Manchester. The full set lives on the FAQs page.
Do you have an office in central Manchester?
No, and that's deliberate. Our office is in Denton (M34) — about twenty minutes from Spinningfields off-peak. We considered a city-centre presence and decided we'd rather charge less and drive in than charge more and be 'closer'. If you need someone on-site, the response time is functionally identical to a city-centre MSP, because they're sitting in traffic too.
How fast can you get someone on-site to a Manchester office?
Standard SLA is same-day for P1 (business-stopping) issues — typically inside 90 minutes off-peak, longer in rush hour. Most P2/P3 issues we resolve remotely without anyone needing to leave the desk. Routine on-site visits (project work, hardware refresh, new starter setup) are scheduled, usually within 3 working days.
Do you charge extra for travel to Manchester?
No. Travel to and from any client site within Greater Manchester is included in the standard fee. We don't itemise mileage or ticket time per visit — it's just baked in. Outside the M60 we'll quote travel separately, but Manchester is the home patch.
We're a Manchester firm but a couple of staff work from Cheshire / North Wales. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Hybrid and remote staff are the norm for our clients. The per-user fee covers the user wherever they are; on-site visits to remote-worker home addresses are out-of-scope (we'd post replacement hardware instead) but everything else works identically.
We've got a current Manchester IT provider — how does switching work?
We've handled dozens of these. Typical timeline: week 1–2 we audit the existing tenant and document what's actually there (often very different from what was promised); weeks 3–4 we run in parallel with the incumbent; week 5 we cut over. No downtime, no surprise bills. Full detail in the onboarding section of our FAQs.
